>> FOLLOWING THE FOOTSTEPS
The Reverend Nick Molony of All Saints Marlow plans to replicate Jesus' walk to Jerusalem by walking to London and then spending time amongst those who are on the margins and most vulnerable... the rejected... the failures...
During the four day journey, he will be without money, mobile phone or change of clothes. Instead, he intends to gain a real understanding of those people living on London's streets by spending a few days “living in their shoes”. His only possessions will be a pad and a pencil to record his experiences, a pedometer to count his footsteps (you can guess how many to win a prize), and a Personal GPS Tracker so that people can follow his progress on Google Earth.
Nick says: "I want to raise awareness of those on the margins of society – such as those who live on the streets, the vulnerable and the rejected. Whether in this country or around the world, these are people we should not overlook".
All sponsorship money raised will go to USPG, an Anglican charity that is reaching out to poor communities around the world.
You can also sponsor him and enter a competition to see how many steps it will take him to complete the journey.
