Adam writes:
"A few years ago I spent an amazing summer funded by USPG travelling around Sri Lanka staying in the theological college and visiting churches in the war torn north. It opened my eyes to the long-term work of the church in marginalised communities both internationally and here in Britain.
I am really pleased to be supporting USPG by running the London Marathon. In particular, the funds I raise will go towards USPG’s Chance of a Lifetime Project, which is helping to increase awareness of HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis in various countries overseas. This is a vital issue where education can save lives." |
